Home » Kazakhstan, Russia and China to create global transport hub
A key agreement on the creation of a transport and logistics hub in the Moscow Region was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The document was signed by the head of Samruk-Kazyna Nurlan Zhakupov, the governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov and the head of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Nurlan Sauranbayev. This project opens a new page in cooperation between Kazakhstan, Russia and China, strengthening their economic ties.
Kazakhstan has proposed a new innovative route that will connect Russia and China, providing additional opportunities for exporters. This route will not only improve trade relations between the two countries, but also create favorable conditions for cargo movement in the Eurasian region. The proposal also reflects Kazakhstan's ambition to become a key logistics hub between Europe and Asia.
The project to create a new hub will significantly reduce delivery times and expand the range of logistics services, including terminal operations. The new cargo handling center will be a key link for accelerating and improving the efficiency of cargo flows between Kazakhstan, Russia and China. As a result, this will reduce transport costs and increase the volume of transit traffic.
The Chinese company Xian Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co., Ltd. will participate in the project to create a transport and logistics hub, which will add an international scale and strengthen the hub's influence on global cargo flows. China, as one of the largest trading partners of Kazakhstan and Russia, sees in this project prospects for further expansion of exports and improvement of the infrastructure of the "New Silk Road".
Russia and China, Kazakhstan's strategic export partners, play a key role in developing the logistics infrastructure of Eurasia. The new hub will provide direct transport links between the Kazakh-Chinese terminal in Xi'an, Russia and other countries, which will significantly improve the speed and quality of cargo transportation. This project strengthens the region's position as a global center of transport logistics, making Eurasia an important link in global trade chains.
